Dr. Peter Gasser is a renowned physician for psychiatry and psychotherapy working in private practice in Solothurn, Switzerland. He is trained in psychodynamic methods as well as psychedelic-assisted therapies. Dr. Gasser has been a member of the Swiss Medical Society for Psycholytic Therapy since 1992 and has been its President since 1997. From 2007 to 2012, Dr. Gasser conducted the first therapeutic study with LSD examining LSD-assisted psychotherapy after the substance was criminalized worldwide. He also holds a number of individual treatment permissions for treatment with MDMA and LSD.
