Michael Seggev

Michael Seggev is a proven biopharma & health-tech leader with 30+ years of commercial experience across multiple therapeutic areas and technologies. He specializes in developing and driving strategy, inspiring and mobilizing teams and leading execution while achieving exceptional results.

Michael spent 22 years in positions of increasing responsibility at Merck. He led the US and then the Global Commercial Team that launched the company’s first-in-class medication to treat HIV/AIDS, altering the epidemic and achieving $1.8 B in peak annual sales. While at Merck he also worked on multiple launches in different therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular, bone health, urology, and ophthalmology. He migrated to Digital Health in 2015, working as the commercial lead embedded within the software team in Teva Pharmaceuticals’ Digital Health group. This group was responsible for developing and launching the first fully integrated drug/device/app combination, Teva’s connected Digihaler portfolio of inhalers for respiratory diseases asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Michael then served as Chief Commercial Officer at the AI HealthTech startup Vocalis Health, which pioneered the use of vocal biomarkers and developed products to screen for COVID-19 and monitor chronic patients with COPD and congestive heart failure (CHF). He then worked as Vice President – Commercial at Donisi Health, a MedTech company providing in-home medical-grade monitoring of multiple cardiopulmonary parameters for patients with chronic heart failure (CHF), chronic kidney disease (CKD), and other diseases.

Most recently, Michael served as Senior Vice President – Commercial at Juli Health, an AI-driven chronic care management software platform that engages patients with their own data to empower better health while offering healthcare providers insights from sub-episodic health data, and combining a consumer-grade app with an enterprise-level EHR workflow integration.

Michael graduated from the Honors College at the University of Michigan with a Bachelors degree in English Literature and currently resides outside Boston with his wife, children and adorable dog Fletcher.
